Redang Island
Redang Island, located approximately 45 km off the coast of Terengganu, is part of the Redang Archipelago, which consists of nine stunning islands. These include Lima Island, Paku Besar, Paku Kecil, Kerengga Besar, Kerengga Kecil, Ekor Tebu, Ling, Pinang, and Redang Island itself. Renowned for its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant underwater ecosystems, Redang is a haven for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts.
Marine Park and Unique Ecosystem
The entire Redang Archipelago is designated as a Marine Park to protect its unique ecosystem. The area is home to more than 500 species of live corals, nearly 1,000 species of invertebrates, and almost 3,000 species of fish, including manta rays, stingrays, sharks, and even the majestic whale sharks.
